Ko te maumahara kore ki ngā whakapapa o ōu mātua tīpuna, e rite ana ki te pūkaki awa kāore ōna hikuawa, ki te rākau rānei kāore ōna pakiaka.
To forget one’s ancestors is to be a brook without a source, a tree without its roots.

About Us
Many years ago, St Dominic received a call to live like Jesus, sharing a message of Truth. This was further lived out in the establishment of schools by Dominican sisters, inspired by St Dominic and following Jesus' mission.
Our goal in setting up this website is to support your staff, students, Board of Trustees and school community in knowing about and developing an appreciation for your school's Dominican charism and recognising how it can enrich your school's identity.
We hope that the Dominican charism - the mission received by St Dominic and continued through the Dominican values and pillars, continues to be lived out in schools today.

This photo of the unfurling ferns represents the new generations of young people who will grow up learning about and living our Dominican tradition. The “forget me not” flowers in the background serve as a reminder for us not to forget our Dominican ancestors and to know they are always with us on our wairua tapu, our spiritual journey.
